Dear Bob,

We  obtained  the  mortgage  for  our  house,  and  will  be  leaving
California  around August 11  for Pittsburgh.   I'm polishing  up the
final draft of my thesis, and expect to finish well before that date.

I'm looking  forward to  coming down  to RAND  for a  couple days  to
consult, as we discussed. Probably the best week for me would be July
26-30.   The next best time would be in early August.  Please respond
with definite dates of arrival/departure, so we can plan accordingly.
